El Laboratorio “donates its star” to the children of Save The Children
In an integrated communication campaign starring Fernando Llorente in India, the campaign aims to raise awareness in society and reinforce the NGO´s brand.
The idea came up as a result of the football match that the Spanish national team plyed against Lithuania in March, in which Llorente came out to play without his world champion star.
Every 4 seconds a child under the age of 5 dies of preventable or curable causes. The objective of the campaign is to achieve that millions of children in the world obtain their own “star”, meaning, that they have what´s necessary to have a healthy life. The web donatuestrella.es, intends to raise awareness and touch the Spanish public so they contribute. Fernando Llorente has already donated his, now it´s the turn for the rest of us.
The campaign stands out because of the wide media integration, taking into account that it is a solidarity campaign. Two TV spots, radio, press, on line actions, social networks, street marketing etc. Besides many VIPs have colaborated, for example: Joaquín Reyes, Manu Carreño or Maribel Verdú.
The team involved to develop the project has been: on the client side Julio Alonso, communications director and Luis Cobo, campaigns coordinator. And from El Laboratorio: Carlos Holemans, Jesús Lada, Carla Romeu, Concha de Anta and Irene Labat in the creative side
